Thinkpad cannot work properly when...

Dear all,

I have a minor problem with my thinkpad R52. I have downloaded the trial version microsoft office 2007 on a CD and i have tried to install the software on the thinkpad but it only showed up as accounting 2007, paypal 2007 and nothing related to microsoft word, excel, outlook, powerpoint... Why? Where have i gone wrong?

1 more thing is i cannot run PC doctor DOS bootable CD on my thinkpad. Nothing works at all...

If you are referring to one of the beta versions released last year, I think they might have already expired.
