Transnote - Bad hard drive

#1 Post by Brad » Sat Mar 31, 2007 2:59 am

Here is my TransNote. The 10gb drive was replaced with a 30gb drive which has died. I had loaded XP Pro. Is there a factory recovery for XP for this model?

Windows XP wasn't even a rumor when the TransNote was designed. Recovery discs are for Windows 98 and Windows 2000 only.

Thanks for the reply. How is the Rolls?

I think I will make a drive bootable that has a copy of the XP CD. I think that is what I did last time.
