DVD-RAM firmware update?

Downloaded to a floppy disk as required, then rebooted. Says I have version 1.03 and to update to 1.04. So far so good, then says loading,not so good. Never gets beyond this point. Tried several different floppies . Anybody else or ideas....

It works. You have to be patient. The loading on my T41P almost took over 20 minutes!

i'm still trying to figure out how to do the dvd firmware and hard drive upgrades when i don't have a floppy drive

i can go on another computer and put the stuff on floppies maybe but i only have a cd drive (which you probably can't use to upgrade the drive you are upgrading) and a usb flash drive and that's it. i have a floppy drive but it's from an older T40 that isn't an ultrabay slim.
