Intel 3945abg latest driver v11.1.xxx

#1 Post by spt60 » Sun Apr 01, 2007 9:58 am

FYI: Just downloaded and installed the new driver --> and ibm access connection is now not working. Doesn't matter for me anyway since I don't really need it, I'm using Windows'. However ibm need to update their softwares for people who use it. I would rather update my intel driver other than wait for access connections. 8)

I'm on XP sp2

I wonder if it works any better than 10.x?

I have Intel 3945 on a X60s. It's relatively stable but still inferior to the Atheros on my T42.

Hi,

did you install the ProSet Utility?
because for me ACC works as good (or bad) as it did with the 10.5 driver.

cu :)

Ok problem's solved. Make sure you install the latest Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless Software Version 11.1 also. 8)

This driver finally resolves the constant 60% connection while using Vista, regardless of how close are far away the laptop was to the router/access point.

This post deserves a bump for this. I was getting the annoying 60% thing too and was nearly ready to throw Vista out the window for it...
