Just reformated, how do i re enable thinkvantage button +etc

hello i hope this is the rite forum

i just did a clean install of vista and i've downloaded the thinkvantage productivity suite and other tools. however i dont know how to restore the blue thinkvantage button or how to renable the FN+key shortcuts =[

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Did you erase the hidden partition?

You need to run the Rescue and Recovery - Recovery repair diskette for Windows Vista to fix the ThinkVantage button. There is a diskette version and an ISO version to make a bootable CD.

To fix the Fn + key shortcuts you need the Hotkey driver for Windows Vista. You probably also need the Lenovo System Interface Driver for Windows Vista.

sry bout posting in wrong forum but thanks very much!! i have a z60t and the last two links didn't specify my model, the closest is z60m and z61t. do you think this matters?

i tried to look for one for z60t but couldn't find any.
