Windows Defender Win2k install

Mircosoft doesn't support win2k I tried installing windows defender on my A20m won't install on system. Is there any type of workaround that i could use to install this on my my laptop. If not does anyone no of any type of a replacement short of buying new software this is my backup machine i'm trying to keep the cost down. thanks

Window Defender will only work with Windows XP with Service Pack 2, Media Center 2005 and Vista due to the feature in it that will allow Microsoft to check the legitimacy of Windows (see if it was pirated). All Microsoft software now requires this check, so all Microsoft software will require Windows XP SP2 or higher.

Actually there is a workaround if you really want to install it which is fairly simple

That being said Windows Defender is not a very good antispyware program.

I am using spyware terminator which is free on windows 2000

Here is the work around if you decide you can't live without windows defender
