What the OP is looking for is the metal cage assembly that the Ultrabay 2000 device slides into. I guess that the rear mounting tab has broken off and as such, causes the chassis to flex at the right rear corner.

The tab belongs to the Ultrabay housing. The Ultrabay cage is is labeled "g" in this picture and I marked the tab with a red circle.DragonMaster wrote: My T22 is doing this, what is the rear mounting tab thing?

The rail, (or better yet, the assembly) is made out of aluminum. The part that breaks is actually just a tang sticking out 90 degrees from the main body. Then there is another "L" shaped, (L on it's side) piece riveted to the tang. The tang breaks that has the L riveted to it and there isn't much to work with as far as room once it's installed. Repair is almost impossible. Welding would be the best option but the plastic would have to be removed to keep it from melting and even then the weld bead might cause interference with other items in the chassis.

Well, I thought of making an U and punch it to the metal cover just like how the L was assembled. It doesn't really look riveted but more punched in there.
I thought the guide rail was just the metal cover, so I only undid one screw and cut off a little plastic bit to get only the metal cover and the rest of the rail is still in the laptop.
I'll see if it's possible first and take a picture if things work out fine. Otherwise, I can buy a good assembly for $20 locally, but it's going to be prone to breaking too.
