Something wrong with the G series?

#1 Post by mdbrown » Sat May 22, 2004 12:51 am

Just curious. I'm still using a 770x so I haven't kept up with the latest and greatest. Wondering if there is something wrong with the G series laptops. I thought they were desktop replacements? Anyone have or used them that can comment on them? They aren't outsourced like the old I series are they?

G series is a desktop wrapped in a thinkpad dress..

Pent 4 and so forth..

AC adapter is a BIG box..

i only had one through here and i would not use one..

it is more suited to large enterprises that want limited portability..

Incidentally, these ugly slabs will go EoL sometime in Q4 with no direct replacement.
