1802 error on T43p

#1 Post by yatainooyaji4 » Wed Apr 04, 2007 4:19 am

Hi, everyone.
This is the first time I post a massage.

I want to install ASUS WL-126GM mini pci card on my T43p.
But I got the "1802" error and the system won't boot up.

I found that there's a solution called "no-1802.com", and I tried on my T43p but it's no use.

Does anybody know how to get rid of this 1802 error on T43p?

Did you try with this ISO file?

NO-1801
X32/2.0GHZ/2GB/ENGENIUS EMP-8602+S 600mw mini pci/WD 250GB
X60/1.83GHZ/2GB/Atheros/7K100

Thank you for the reply.
Yes, I used this CD image.

It worked on my old X31, but not on my T43p...

I had been wondering if the 1802 software would work on T43/R52 and newer machines and it sounds like the answer is no. Before the T43, the data was stored in eeprom ATMEL 24rf08. T43 uses PC8394T-VJG.

So there is no way to use third party mini pci network card on T43?
It's so sad...
