PCAMPR5 NDIS Protocol Driver

anyone know what this is? i made an XP SP2 CD from my i386 directory, formatted, reinstalled, installed all drivers in the IBM matrix and my system event viewer is FILLED with this:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7000
Date: 9/28/2004
Time: 5:03:51 PM
User: N/A
Computer: THINKPAD
Description:
The PCAMPR5 NDIS Protocol Driver service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

anyone have any ideas and/or suggestions?

btw... i checked the registry (HKLM/System/CCS/Services) and there is a service called PCAMPR5 and the path is "\??\C:\WINDOWS\system32\PCAMPR5.SYS". not sure what the question marks are for but the service just below it "PCANDIS5" has the same type of syntax in the path and it doesn't give any problems.

also.. there is no PCAMPR5.SYS file in the system32 directory... but there is the PCANDIS5.SYS file. what package are these included in? anyone know?

fyi.. the only other software (aside from IBM's stuff) that i use that would be on the packet level would be Sygate personal firewall and the Cisco VPN client.
