I upgraded my XP T60P to Vista Ultimate. I'm reasonably sure that, initially, the drive had been working but I may be wrong. There are no drivers on the Lenovo site specifically for the drive.
Using Device Manager it says the file might be corrupt or missing. The device is listed as:
HL-DT ST DVDRAM GSA-4083N ATA Device
The drivers listed are:
cdrom.sys from MS
GEARAspiWDM.sys from Gear Software
iviaspi.sys from Intervideo
I've tried unintalling the device and rescanning hardware but it either says it can't install the drivers because they're corrupt or missing or it tells me I have the most current drivers.
I'd love some help. The drive seems operational. Is seen by device manager and the BIOS.
