I've tried searching for this and can't seem to see anyone else having this problem. I've done a clean install of Vista Ultimate on my T42p and turning on the Bluetooth started the process of installing drivers.
The process hums along for a while and I get a bunch of recognized and installed drivers but then it chokes on a "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" and can't find the drivers.
So far the process installs:
IBM Integrated Bluetooth III
Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)
Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator
Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)
Standard Serial over Bluetooth link (COM4)
... (COM5)
... (COM6)
and then the failure on Bluetooth Peripheral Device
I've tried downloading and manually pointing to all the different IBM drivers to no avail. I'm thinking of turning to the Toshiba stack, but I was hoping to keep the MSFT stack going.
I've skipped the install of the last driver and successully paired, but no services are showing and I can't seem to do anything useful besides pairing.
Any help appreciated.
