TP 760XD and the PCIC or compatible PCMCIA controller

#1 Post by harald612 » Thu Apr 05, 2007 4:02 pm

Hello,

I have TP 760XD under Windows 98 in a Port Replicator. This Port Replicator has 2 PCMCIA slots. In the device manager they are listed as "PCIC or compatible PCMCIA controller". Everything seems OK, but I cannot use my PCMCIA LAN card in this Port Replicator. Same LAN card works fine in the TP 760XD PCMCIA slot.

How can I use this PCIC PCMCIA controller ?

Thank you

Harald

Have you tried both PC Card slots in the port replicator?

Yes, I tried both slots. I do not think, it is a PC Card slot. Maybe only a slot for 16-bit PCMCIA. Are there additional drivers necessary?

OK, it works now. There is no Plug and Play available. I had load the driver and configured the LAN card manually.
