Even before the sale, thinkpads were made by ODM, not by IBM directly.

Anyhow, T42 was the last T series before the sale was announed.

codek, if you're asking this because you're concerned about the quality of Lenovo-made Thinkpads, the consensus seems to be that other than the T60's Samsung WSXGA+ Flexview screens, Lenovo-made Thinkpads are very nearly as good as IBM-made ones. For example, I find my T60 to be as well built as the two T23's that I owned.
Microsoft Surface 3 (Atom x7-Z8700 / 4GB / 128GB / LTE)
Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF (Core i3-3220 / 8GB / 8TB); HP 8300 Elite minitower (Core i7-3770 / 16GB / 9.25TB)
Acer T272HUL; Crossover 404K; Dell 3008WFP, U2715H, U2711, P2416D; Monoprice 10734; QNIX QHD2410R; Seiki Pro SM40UNP

My T60P (2007-93U) has "IBM ThinkPad" embossed on the palmrest although I'm full aware that it's now a Lenovo product.

You're absolutely right Frank. I was only referencing T4x models since this forum is limited to discussing those models only. Sorry for any confusion.
