Does the Ultrabase lower the right palm temp?

While plugged my x60 is extremely hot compared to my x31 to the point that if the x6 ultrabase cools it down I will definitely get one.

I know it's the wifi chip causing the heat issue, but the palm rest is considerably cooler when I unplug it. So if anyone has the base, let me know if it makes a difference.
