What is the difference between T60p and T60?

#1 Post by jlingo » Sun Apr 08, 2007 7:16 am

Sorry guys, I have to ask you this question. I'm having a hard time differentiating between the P and non-P version. I was looking at the Singapore websites and they didn't seem to have the explanation between the two. When I was looking at the Specifications, they were practically the same thing.

I was searching in this forum, but I guess it was really hard to search when the difference is only with letter P.

Thank you for the help,

No. You can customize that with any thinkpad configuration.

The diference between them is just that T60 has the X1400 graphics card and T60p the FireGL v5250. Also, the former card is newer and better but consumes more battery power.

Huh?

You can customize the Thinkpad you wish to buy. You just need to decide between the P and non-P series. After that, customize away!
New:
Thinkpad T430s 8GB DDR3, 1600x900, 128GB + 250GB SSD's, etc.
Old:
E6520, Precision M4400, D630, Latitude E6520
ThinkPad Tablet 16GB 1838-22U
IBM Thinkpad X61T, T61, T43, X41T, T60, T41P, T42, T410, X301

As far as I know, is many countries it is not possible to build a Lenovo laptop to order. You have to select from pre-built models. Notice the original parent is not located in the US.

Thank you for the help,
Jlingo,
You have to have the specific model number before you can know the difference. The T60 can come in any number of different configurations. This includes configurations where the only difference is the graphics card. Other configurations of the T60 may have substantially more differences.

You can search the model number on Lenovo's website in order to find the information on the model.
