Reluctantly I've decided that I need to let go of my X31. It's on Australia's eBay here, but despite what I've said in the item description, I will be willing to post it overseas to any thinkpads.com forum member for $460 Australian (about $370US) plus shipping.

As stated, there are 2 dead pixels and some of the rubber near the front of the lid has been scratched away, but otherwise the X31 is in excellent condition. I've just decided that at the moment I have no need for the 2 Thinkpads, and the X31 is the one that gets less use.

Pics can be found here, plus I have a thread in the picture area of the forum where I compared it to my T40.

Please PM if interested - payment will be non-CC Paypal or bank deposit if you're in Australia. eBay feedback should be readily accessible from the item description.

Checked your Ebay auction. Seems like a very nice x31. I was looking for one awhile ago, but alas............I'm low on funds now!

Good luck,
Ron

Auction's going better than I expected it would - I've decided to keep the sale to eBay, so can someone please close this thread. Thanks to all who showed interest - I've PM'd you to let you know of my decision.

Kristian, that's a really good piece of machine, good luck on that auction.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
