Warranty extension purchase experience

Since we so often only hear the bad experiences dealing with the purchase and support lines, I thought I'd pass along a good one.

The warranty on my aged but still loved T40 was due to expire today. While it's not my primary system any more, I still use it enough to justify extending the warranty one more year (yes, I know the debate rages on about whether extending warranties is worth it - I don't always think so, but in this case I decided it is).

Anyway, I just got off the phone with a very pleasant agent, Jason, who quickly ran through my options for extension with me, processed my order and sent a follow-up confirmation e-mail. Everything went very smoothly, and I'm set for another year of covered usage.

Just one mouse's experience.
