T23 compatible with Samsung M60 120GB HDD?

#1 Post by BachManiac » Mon Apr 09, 2007 11:35 am

Hi! Have anyone of you tested the Samsung Spinpoint M60 120GB HDD in the T23?

I want to buy it for a T23 but had problems last year with the M60 100GB, it didn't work in the T23.

greets!

hello
try to go to the store with the laptop and try the harddrive on site...
if it works you buy it if not...you don't ;)

why don't you try a Seagate momentus drive, they use perpendicular recording and use lot less power.I saw an 80GB momentus that uses only 2w of poer when all the other drives use around 5w

cheers C.

What was the problem with the 100G, was it too big? Make sure you have the most recent BIOS revision. It' not often I hear of a post-2000 laptop with a problem taking hard drives in that range anymore.
