speakers, sound off dead on t41

So, was listening to some DVD's over the weekend, using headphones.

today, no sound out of speakers at all. I have checked all the common system areas, volume is up, no mutes on.

WMP is not on Mute, Slingplayer is not on mute.

Anyone know anything to do, or check. Is there a way to check that the speakers didn't die, or where to enable sound again?

If your headphones work but the laptop speakers don't, then check to see if your headphone jack is obstructed. There's a spring loaded tab in there that shuts off the main speakers when you plug your headphones in.

If that's not the case then you got dead speakers...

So, a little in and out on the HP jack, and the speakers are back on.

Just for fun, I checked on my warranty, it ENDED YESTERDAY!!
