Using Catalyst Beta 2 for FireGL T2

Has anyone tried using the catalyst beta 2 driver, which lists support for the FireGL T2, to resovle the flicker issue that has been happening?

Heck,

where can I get this version of catalyst from? I am tired of using the built in driver, and I am assuming that a more up to date driver is available. I have asked here before about the FireGL T2 and Vista drivers, but so far nothing.

Surely someone most know something, either way.

If you go to ATI's website they list all the cataylst drivers but they stop listing support for the FireGL T2 after beta 2 in the release notes.

Guess this doesnt matter anymore since as of Monday the 23 ati put up vista drivers for the FireGL line of graphics cards on their website.

The beta wouldn't let me go above 1024x768. I had to re-install the IBM driver (left catalyst though).

I guess I'll go take a look-see at the newer drivers.

I would assume that the 5200 would work with the 5250 seeing that they are from the same series of graphics cards.

Yeah, I don't foresee any problems relating to that. They are both from the same class / family of GPU's.
