Welcome to the Thinkpad family zahir!

I was about to buy a Vaio SZ too, and the forum people here almost kill me for having such indecision... in the final end I ordered a T60 2007-65S and I am fully happy with this baby... it rocks! actually I am working 4 heavy apps at the same time 48 hours of continuous work and the machine is working without any flaw... just quiet, cool and speedy.

Had a little problem with the palm rest nails when upgrading RAM, the got broken! (when doing this slip gently the palm rest towards you and uprise the piece only when it has a 2cm gap from the main frame, otherwise you will damage the piece..) The piart has been replaced and all is ok now.

This is really an excellent road warrior machine!

her rleo... thanks for the welcome but ive previously owned a thinkpad too so for me it was a straightforward 'old thinkpad out new thinkpad in decision!' hehe

but im quiet pleased with the model so far, it runs some heavy apps with easy.... hardly any cpu usage after i tweaked it.... now hopefully the battery life will keep up, the first charge gave me 4 hrs and i was doing some heavy duty installations on it.... then again, the first no-ac use is always great.... touchwood.... t series have always been my dream laptops and now i got one.... plus the titaniums cool if u need to bonk anyone on the head :D

cheers....
