New (almost) T60p owner...

Just ordered a new T60p (8744-J2U) from Lenovo Friday afternoon. This was after getting very annoyed at Sony (I currently have a SonySZ) support (or lack of) and realizing that I don't want to pay $300 for an extended battery to a company thats known to produce faulty li-ion batteries.

Anyway, after the first time I borrowed a co-workers thinkpad, I fell in love with the keyboard....

I'm wondering what "real person" experience is with ordering standard builds from lenovo. I have an "estimated ship date" of 4/20, but I suspect that this means little. (Estimated date of shipping from China, or from North Carolina?... ) When can I actually expect to see my new WS screen and feel my new keyboard?

Also, are there sticky threads here for getting rid of bloatware? I'm not a fan of "uninstall" options (which usually leaves stuff around) but prefer to do a CLEAN install of the OS and then install the needed drivers afterwards.
