wireless network sounds

Sorry, but I can't find the sound settings for wi-fi connect/disconnect.
The default sound is too loud and annoying. Where can I change it?

Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio -> ...

I have all of my sounds disabled so I'm not sure which one is the offender. It might be one of the "wireless link sounds" or "windows" "device connect"/"device disconnect"

The discussed sound is not listed there and is not affected by selecting the no sounds sceme.

To shut it off in Access Connections go to Configure -> User Preferences and uncheck "Enable Sound Effects".

Not that I'm aware of. But then again I haven't looked since I find the connection sound unnecessary.
