#1 Post by manixc » Sat Oct 02, 2004 12:10 am

hi all,

I have noticed a dead pixel on my LCD, what should I do? My thinkpad is still under warranty. Will IBM fix it?? or am I out of luck?

thanks

mike

edit: is there a way to make sure that it's a dead pixel?

Try clicking on the middle(blue) button. If it goes away, then it isn't a dead pixel. I have this problem. It is caused by the UltraNav software...and only shows up when in 32bit mode(AC power)

Yup. if you want to fix that, install Synaptic's driver for touchpad...
