Extended warranty question

Hello all

I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade the 3 yr warranty on my brand spanking new T42 to a "next business day" type service.

Do any of you have experience with this, or should I just call IBM and ask nicely? :D

you can upgrade anytime that your warranty is active. call them!

$119 to upgrade the basic 3 year warranty to 3 years of next day onsite service.

$220 to extend the 3 year depot repair (EZServe) to 5 years.

$449 to max the warranty out at 5 years of onsite service.

For those considering purchasing an upgrade, I'll just mention that I've upgraded all of my personal T and A series machines, my Transnote and even some of my 600Xs.

I consider this to be a very cheap form of insurance.
