Missing Programs from Add/Remove Programs

No viruses, anal about running anti virus, a number of my programs listed in add/remove programs under setting have their add/remove functions missing. Anyone ever see this. Need to remove one or two, don't want to wipe computer and redo all to reset this.

You have probably been burned by a bad install package of PC Doctor 5 that Lenovo did not test before distributing.

I sincerely hope that you have a backup from before you installed PC Doctor 5.

If you have Windows System Restore enabled, run it in SAFE MODE, which should repair the entries in the Add/Remove applet within the Control Panel.

This is the resolution I used when the bad installation package for an upgrade to PC Doctor 5 was first made available late last year.

There are a couple of large threads related to the PC Doctor 5 debacle, the issues for which have since been fixed.
