Access Connections taskbar icon?

#1 Post by t41user » Tue Apr 17, 2007 3:31 am

Please help me restore Access Connections taskbar icon...

I happily use Access Connections 4.21 everyday. This morning I accidentally deleted the taskbar icon for it. All I did was click on the icon and select quit or exit. (I meant to click on and exit a different icon.) Now I cannot get the Access Connections icon back on the taskbar. I'm not sure what I did or why the icon no longer appears when I reboot. Sorry if this is a dumb question. Could someone please tell me how to get the icon back? I like to have the icon there because I frequently connect and disconnect from my wireless connection... I like the way the icon displays the connection status, provides a quick and easy way to bring up the program, etc.

Sorry again if this is a dummy question. I don't know how to get the icon back on the taskbar. How can I get it back there?

The file is called ACtray.exe

It's under C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\ConnectUtilities\

Also start Access Connections (since the icon is not present in the task tray, you can start it by clicking on Start-Programs-...), click on Configure--Global Settings--Notification and look at the box next to "Show Thinkvantage Access Connections status icon in task tray" is checked.

Cheers

Thank you very much!

I tried looking around in all of the settings, including the Global Settings, but I didn't try looking in the Notification tab. Thank you again.
