Resolution on my R60
Hi,
I am trying to have a higher resolution on my R60 laptop. While it does let me change thesettings the desktop screen scrolls outside of the monitor. Any ideas to fix this?

Re: Resolution on my R60
Your laptop's display has a maximum resolution. It's either 1024x768 or 1400x1050, depending on the model. The display cannot _physically_ support higher resolutions, so if you try to use them, the only thing you can get is desktop scrolling.neoranjit wrote:Hi,

I would like to work sometimes to a lower resolution than 1400x1050... but when i lower the resolution the picture of the monitor is some kind ... fuzzy, I mean the fonts is like not been focused... is that normal ?
Thank you very much in advance !

@Mnezor: that is indeed normal. Unlike crt screens, lcd screens have "static" pixels (I mean: they can't move so you will always have 1400 pixels next to eachother physically). If you lower the resolution, one logical pixel would occupy for example 1.4 physical pixels. The computer will use interpolation at that point, which makes the display fluzzy.
