How fast do X31 & X40 come out of suspension?

I'm using my 240x as a large Palm Pilot.

I put it in suspend when I leave the house in the morning and open it throughout the day when I need to look up some info or check Street Atlas for driving directions.

It takes about 30 second to come out of suspend. Are the newer X models any faster?

My 240x with extended battery gives me 5 to 8 hours of life going in and out of suspension 5 to 10 times a day.

I just received a new X31 2885-RGU today.

It takes 3-4 seconds to go in or out of Suspend. :D

Resume times depend heavily on your OS. Windows 98 is notorious for long resume times. Windows XP is much faster and has an easier time of recognizing devices that have been added and removed while suspended.

Which OS are you using?
