the highest resolution screen you'll see (if you can)! (PIC)

No photoshop, no trickery. This amazing screen is supposeldy used in digital camera viewfinders. The reflective LCD display provides an 800x600 resolution in a half-inch screen!

AMAZING! 800x600 on a 0.5" screen, that's 2000 dots per inch! One would definitely need a magnifying glass to see anything!

The highest pixel density I've used is my Dell Axim X51v. 640x480 (VGA) on a 3.7" screen, or 216.2 DPI.
Microsoft Surface 3 (Atom x7-Z8700 / 4GB / 128GB / LTE)
Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF (Core i3-3220 / 8GB / 8TB); HP 8300 Elite minitower (Core i7-3770 / 16GB / 9.25TB)
Acer T272HUL; Crossover 404K; Dell 3008WFP, U2715H, U2711, P2416D; Monoprice 10734; QNIX QHD2410R; Seiki Pro SM40UNP

Colorado MicroDisplay isn't even in business any longer.

This resolution doesn't surprise me, but the price does.

Back around the turn of the century, we were working with video refresh rates of 2khz for a military application that would identify an object, isolate it, compare to the previous frame, calculate corrections to keep it "centered" and take the next frame.

Pretty cool stuff out there that most don't know of...
Common sense to some of us is unfortunately the higher education others strive to attain.

We had these at the place I worked, amazing stuff but pricy. It's used in binoculars for the military to fuse FLIR and daylight images.
