I've no longer got my 600E 2645-4BG (sold it a couple of months ago).
But when i first got it i updated it's BIOS to latest version without using a floppy.

I have a floppy in my desktop pc so i made the BIOS update floppy on my desktop pc.

Then i started a new project in Nero - a bootable CD - again this is all on my desktop pc.

Added the files from the floppy to the compilation and then in Nero's advanced settings for the bootable CD i set the floppy's boot sector as the boot sector to use for the bootable CD.

I burnt the compilation - less than 1.44MBs - and gave it a few tests to see if it'd boot reliably in my 600E.
It worked everytime so i took a deep breath and booted up with it again and went thru the BIOS update process.

It worked no probs!
