Is it just me, or is the xorg-driver-fglrx_8.36.5-1_i386.deb corrupted?

When I install using dpkg I get following output:

Code: Select all

(Reading database ... 133812 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace xorg-driver-fglrx 7.1.0-8.34.8+2.6.20.5-16.28 (using xorg-driver-fglrx_8.36.5-1_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement xorg-driver-fglrx ...
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
dpkg: error processing xorg-driver-fglrx_8.36.5-1_i.386.deb (--install):
short read in buffer_copy (backend dpkg-deb during `./usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/fglrx_drv.so')
Errors were encountered while processing:
 xorg-driver-fglrx_8.36.5-1_i386.deb
When I extract the deb and try to extract the data.tar.gz I get:

Code: Select all

gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
Could you please fix this, if it's not a problem on my side?

thanks for notifying
seems like the root of the problem comes from googlepages, which for some reason corrupted some files over time.

Just in case some other files are corrupted, I re-uploaded all of them.

Let me know if there is any other problems

@axiom:

Any chance of getting the sources of your custom-kernel? I need vmware-player and copying the 2.6.20-15-kernelmodules doesn't work...

I don't mind sending it to you, but it's a few hundred megs, I don't know where to host it.

If you want to compile your own modules, normally you only need the header files, even you need the source you can just install the original unpatched -15 source.

Hope it helps.
