Truly amazing.

I think those guys working on IBM System/360 must be very envious of watching us work today on these teeny tiny and much compactor thinkpad machines in now-a-days.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

I used to operate and program those 360/20s and later models, as far back as 1968.
It's where I learned Assembler from scratch. Very powerful language, even today!
Nowadays my main 'languages' are Cobol and (in small doses) PL/1.
When Wall Street moves to Scranton PA, there should be plenty demand for programmers there.

Must say though that IBM had some quite elegant designs!
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
