CCS/Fingerprint Reader and Security Volume Drive Access

#1 Post by tamujun » Sun Apr 22, 2007 5:21 pm

I recently upgraded my T60 from XP SP2 to Vista Home Premium. After installing all the upgrades, system seems working fine but I constently have problems with:

CCS 8.0/password manager, after I scan my fingerprint, and succeed, it says: "the requested operation requires fingerprint authorization, but you have no fingerprint enrolled..." Actually I enrolled all my fingerprints already and I used it log onto windows successfully. I re-enrolled all fingerprints, but no change at all.

Security drive: This actually was a problem under XP. it keeps asking me to use passphrase to log in, but whatever password I use, it says authorization fails. no clue at all!

Anybody has same experience? my model: 2613-HKU, Vista Home Premium. Thanks!

Exact same issues...

I have see the same behavior. In fact, I consider this to be the one, big annoying issue with the T60 and Vista Business. I wish Lenovo would fix it....or at least offer some workaround such as turning off some feature.

I will add that other than these weird behaviors, the fingerprint reader and the CSS <usually> work well enough. And, I have seen the same "repeated requests for password then a 'failed to enroll' message" on a Lenovo 3000 N100 with WinXPpro.

If anyone can shed some light on these issues, BE DO SO!!
