Hi,
A friend of mine took my advice and bought himself a T60. His T60 is fitted with the fingerprint reader.
I installed a clean version of Vista on it, along with all the necessary IBM drivers and some of the IBM apps. I chose not to install CSS. My own experiences with CSS in XP aren't exactly positive, and I reckon they wouldn't be much better in Vista.
However, my friend would really like to use the fingerprint reader for authentication when booting the thinkpad. I know this can be done in BIOS somehow - but so far the best I've come up with is a way that makes him swipe the reader on boot, and then type in his password afterwards. What he really wants, is just to swipe his finger on boot.
How is this set up? Is it even possible?

You don't need CSS to enable the fingerprint reader you'll only need the fingerprint software:
