"IBM ThinkPad features screensaver": How w/Vista?
"IBM ThinkPad features screensaver": How w/Vista?
Has anybody managed to get the (good old!) "IBM ThinkPad features screensaver" (see bottom of --> HERE) to work under Vista Business? It won't work for me (on a T60, model 2007-QPG, UT0QPDK, running Vista Business/preinstalled) - are there any tweaks that might enable this?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Johan

Runs fine here now (Look HERE perhaps?). I remember it didn't run on 7.2's. Don't know why?
X31 Arch Linux
X61 OSX 10.6.6
T61 Windows 7
If it ain't broke, OC it!

Thanks, CP-Geek... Mobility Modder did the trick!
NB: A new version of Mobility Modder was released yesterday. I used that one on my T60 w/Vista Business. Seems to work - thanks again.

I just tried the modded drivers, and while the display adapter had many more configuration options, it totally "Borked" Standby, Hibernation, and turn off monitor (Fn + F3) with Vista RC1. Not sure how it would do with Vista RTM. This is with a 9600 Mobility Radeon GPU. The only driver that works without major problems is the one that came with RC1.
I tried unistalling and reinstalling the following without avail: Presentation Manager, Power Manager, Hotkey Driver, Lenovo Interface Driver, and Power Management Driver (ACPI). I also tried just rolling back the display driver in Device Manager. In the end I used System Restore to revert back to before I began experimenting with all this earlier today.
Those of you with Vista RTM and the 9600 Mobility Radeon, how are your Standy, Hibernate and turn off monitor (Fn + F3) options working with the modded drivers?
