Buzzing noise from my x60

Just wondering if anyone had random whistling\buzzing noises with their X60? I just got mine in the mail this morning and I'm just wondering if that is normal because my x31 never had this noise before.... It's like a soft buzzing noise that randomly comes on I'm wondering if its the hard drive or something.. if anyone can help that would be awsome.

It get it sometimes when I'm having high IO usage or sometimes when the CPU is idle.

Never did seem to make it go away. There's also a buzzing noise when I plug my speakers into the ultrabay with the x60 mounted.

It's caused by the battery...remove it and try again using AC then you'll see that

The buzzing noise with the battery is a known issue.

I'm already running without the battery most of the time now, and I get it sometimes still.

something to do with the Embedded controller.
try update to the latest BIOS version
