Need help on vista clean installation with upgrade DVD!!!

#1 Post by tamujun » Fri Apr 27, 2007 5:01 pm

As suggested by the sticky post, I tried to install a clean vista in my T60. After formating hardisk, and continued, I got this message:

windows cannot find a system volume that meets the cretirea for this installation...

So I could not even install!

Than I input my product key which is NOT suggested by the instruction, it allowed me to install, but...

It won't let me activate!

Anybody can help me out??? THANKS!!

Thanks! I installed again but this time didn't format the HD, it allowed me to install as a clean system, however I still need to deal with the activation issue, guess have to call Microsoft anyway...
