Port replicator I or II

Hi guys,


I found a port Replicator for my T41p. Its brand new, but this guy could sell to me for about half the price.

Its a Port Replicator I.

Will my T41p fit? My T41p is calles 2374-GGG, and isn't listed for accessories on www.ibm.com

btw, the part number for the replicator is 02K8667

14,1" (1400x1050), 1,83GHz Core Duo, 64MB X1300
1GB RAM, 100GB 7200 HDD, DVD burner

I gues the port-replicas goes side by side on T42 and T41 - or am I wrong?

I'm not sure if it will fit with the standard battery, but it definately will NOT with the extended life battery. The II has a "sliding thingy with a hinge thingy" as the main differentiator between it and the I, but I don't know what the necessity of this is. Since my T30 works on both, I suspect that as long as you have the standard battery you're okay.

No! That's the replicator for the earlier A, T and X series machines, not the T40 series.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding a Port Replicator II on eBay for $80 or less.

You must have a II for any T4x machines.
