T42p: Bright upper edge of 15'' flexview or pixel fault??

Just got my 15'' T42p 2373-HTG and have used it only for a week so far. The display is great although the brightness is not exactly overwhelming.
The uppermost part of the screen, maybe the very edge of it, is unexpectedly bright, as if the top pixel row is constantly 100% white. It looks odd. Is it just the screen edge?!

Great forum, by the way.
I'll try to give feedback after I've worked some more with this laptop.
