Upgrade wifi ?

#1 Post by Oaklodge » Fri May 04, 2007 12:25 pm

I'm about to purchase a t60p, part # 8742C3U which comes with the intel a/b/g wi-fi.

Can I upgrade to a/b/g/n ?

What part(s) do I need to do this ?

Yes you can upgrade as WIFI should be a customer replaceable unit. For the hardware, you will need an 802.11n card and if you don't have one yet, a 3rd antenna for the connector in the middle.

Edit :: Part number for the card is 42T0825 for the US card
42R9909 for the 14.1" antenna
42R9910 for the 15" antenna
