Disabling trackpad

I want to disable the trackpad completely? Any idea?

I found the solution already.

I install the gsynaptics package and add

add the line Option "SHMConfig" "true"

as followed:

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Synaptics Touchpad"
Driver "synaptics"
Option "SendCoreEvents" "true"
Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "Protocol" "auto-dev"
Option "HorizScrollDelta" "0"
Option "SHMConfig" "true"
EndSection

or do it in the bios.
T60 2623-D7U, 3 GB Ram.
Dual boot XP and Linux Mint.

Yeah. I hate the TrackPad so much I just turn it off in the BIOS.

The bonus is that it irks people who like them when they use my machine. :)
