T40 Screen Problem

#1 Post by akamarshall » Sat May 05, 2007 7:40 pm

Hi,
I replaced my T40'S mb because there was a supervisor password on it, after putting everything back together, I tried powering it up, it powered up fully and I saw the normal boot up screen. While after putting all the screws back in, I tried booting it up and nothing shows up on the screen. If anyone nows of any possible fixes it would be appreciated, thanks.

The problem was that when I was screwing the screws for the fan, I screwed them in to tight.

I doubt you broke anything screwing in the fan. Make sure the cables are all seated and the memory is in straight.

As a separate item, are you interested in selling your old board for parts?
