Software Installer problem

#1 Post by gg3761 » Wed Oct 06, 2004 9:43 pm

I'm having problems using the latest IBM Software installer. When it is searching the c:/driver data base it locks up on different files & won't proceed. Where on the IBM site can i find a previous driver? Any other ideas? The only way out is control-alt-del. It shows 100% CPU usage.

Today there is a new version (2.33.0493) on the IBM Website. Perhaps this solves your problem.

Ever since installing the next to last version of Software Installer, the laptop locked up when trying to use it. The new version that was just posted fixed my problem.
