T40 Spontaneously Stands-By when docked in Mini Dock

My T40 works perfectly when not docked, however when it is docked it will frequently and spontaneously go into stand-by mode in the middle of whatever I am doing (typing, browsing Internet, etc.).

Any thoughts on this problem?
