DVD driver not working...

My DVD drive isn't working, and I've run out of troubleshooting steps. I installed several programs that might have had bad drivers, but I have uninstalled the main candidate with no luck., Strangely I have an additional CDRom drive listed:

- UG28430 SKD913E SCSI CdRom Device

Anyone know what this is? Also, my main DVD driver says it's using the cdrom.sys driver...is this correct?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver with no effect. I uninstalled ULead video software, which didn't solve the problem. I currently have Adobe Acrobat, Daemon Tools, and Nero 7 Ultra installed. Anyone know of problems with these programs? Also, does anyone know how to see what other DLLs might be in the driver stack?
