Bill is a trusted seller and a frequent contributor to the thinkpads.com community  . 'Sorry, I couldn't help myself!

Bill, that's a super price and if I didn't just buy a suped-up R60 for my wife last week I'd be sending a check accross all the smoke right now to secure the T60 for her. I can barely see to the end of my driveway though we have no fires within 150 miles of here. 'Hope y'all are OK over there.

You're funny Yak

I somehow missed seeing Bill post this. That is excellent price.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

There is a lot of smoke (and lots of flakes in the air) in gainesville too. I can't imagine how it is in Atlanta.

Hmm, I'm not sure about this. How do I know this isn't one of those fraud deals Bill? Do you have any sort of reference or feedback or history or past sales? You seem sorta under the shadows here. If only you had a website for me to reference... (ducks and hides real well...)

Gator: Can't vouch for Atlanta totally but over here in the suburbs (Marietta) there isn't much. We just have the standard heat, humidity and car exhaust.

It's bright and clear in Atlanta today, after some monster storms yesterday afternoon.

The T41p would be the one in my sig.

A Powerbook G4 Titanium is this:

Specs from Apple

I have the 1GHz model with these specs:

1GHz PPC G4 CPU
ATI Radeon GPU w/64MB
512MB PC133 SDRAM
100GB HD
SuperDrive (DVD-R Burner, non dual layer)
Wifi
Ethernet
Modem

Original box
All Manuals, Recovery Discs (MacOS X Jaguar 10.2)
Boxed Copy of Mac OS X Tiger 10.4

Here are some pics

I could e-bay both machines and come up with about $1400, but since Lenovo doesn't take paypal, picking up a new T60 would be a problem...

it looks like a nice apple..
BUT, i am kinda tapped out and up to my eyeballs with thinkpads and now i have this macbook pro..

your T41p sounds really nice..

i would not mind having it..

it should sell here easily or on ebay and you can convert paypal to cash easily enough..
or get the paypal credit card and pay for your thinkpad T60 that way..

Ehhh it's okay anyway.

Circuit City just closed my dept. today and while I did find another job working in a print shop, I might need my Mac for work (pre-press graphics design) or need to sell it for bills.

Thanks for considering it anyway though.

I do think Gator would want dibs on my T41P, he seems to be in lust with it.

seems like you found a home for that A31p..
which is one sweet thinkpad model..
the only caveats are the older USB 1.1 and the red display problem..

otherwise, with two ultrabays, it is a most desireable thinkpad..
