How Hot Should MY T43 get?
HI all I have recently installed dragon 9 speech recognition software on my T-43 and have noticed my computer is getting hotter than normal . I am using the fan control program that is widely posted around here (in an effort to control the T-43's goddam annoying awful fan noise, with some success, though not as much as permaenently listening to music while working) and have noticed since installing dragon if I am using it for a while I get hot - the hottest I have seen is 70 degrees celsius, at which point I shut it down for a while to cool - Ihad never seen the fan control icon go red before. Is this too hot, should I worry or is it okay to operate around this temperature. Cheers for any help you can give, Scott.

Could you post your T43 temperature readings as TPFanControl shows:
CPU 47°C (0x78)
APS 50°C (0x79)
PCM 38°C (0x7a)
GPU 51°C (0x7b)
BAT 38°C (0x7c)
BAT 33°C (0x7e)
BUS 0°C (0xc0)
PCI 0°C (0xc1)
PWR 0°C (0xc2)
XC3 0°C (0xc3)
My T42p temps
I wonder if the heatsink fan installed on all the T4x series laptop can dissipate the heat produced by the CPU/GPU can reduce its temperature under the 45C with the fan run at 2900-3000rpm. As you can see in my readings, CPU is 48C, GPU 51C (both undervolted & underclocked). Mind sharing T42p/T43p temp readings
