web-based autoCAD?

#1 Post by georgeb » Mon May 14, 2007 5:48 pm

google has all kinds of web based aps -- is there anything similar with autoCAD basic features?

alternatively, are there any (small) and basic autoCAD programs for download?

i need to create a floorplan in scale and doing it on Word is giving me a bad headache

thanks all

hmm ... I don't know any web based apps, but I used '3D home architect' long back for making floorplans and it was a nice small app. Maybe you can try thier trial version.
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU

Google bought out a company and are now giving out a basic CAD program for free. It's called Sketchup. I haven't heard how is it for architectural purposes, but I can't imagine it being any worse than Word! :o
